They were children at one point, full of innocence, curiosity and potential. Environmental conditioning “happened to them,” and they coped with it the best they could with the knowledge they had, as they all claim, which would become the default justification for everything.
Identities crystallized into something grotesque as they grew to identify with the archetypes of their oppression, and anyone with idiosynchrocies incongruent with their own was an idiot. They developed a remarkable capacity to lie to themselves in the mirror.
